Preparation
Method
- Heat oil in a pan, fry the mustard and cumin seeds, red
chilies and curry leaves until they splutter.
- Then add crushed garlic and fry until it gets golden brown.
Also add chopped tomatoes, turmeric and cook for a while until the tomatoes get soft.
- Now add tamarind water, salt, rasam powder, chili powder and
water if required.
- Boil them until bubbles appear on them. Remove from heat and
garnish with cilantro leaves.
- Serve hot with plain rice.
