Mixed Vegetable Soup

 

Ingredients

Small carrot 1
Medium cauliflower 1
Capsicum 1/2
French beans 2-3
Small piece cabbage 1
Onion 1
Soya sauce 1/2 Tsp.
Each grated ginger and garlic 1/2 Tsp.
Crushed red chili 1/4 Tsp.
Salt according to taste
Sugar 1/2 Tsp.
Cornflour 2 Tsp.
Oil or ghee(clarified butter) or butter 1 Tsp.
Water 2 Cups

Preparation Method

 

  • Chop all the vegetables finely.

  • Heat butter in a pan. Add onion, ginger, garlic and vegetables.

  • Stir fry the vegetables till they look bright and done. Add water and bring to boil

  • Mix cornflour in 1/2 cup cold water and add to the soup, stirring simultaneously.

  • Bring to boil again. Add chili, sauce and sugar and boil till thick and transparent. Serve hot.
