Potatoes 250 gm.
Onions 170 gm.
Tomatoes (cubes) 225 gm.
Green peppers (cubes) 150 gm.
Peas 160 gm.
Ginger/garlic paste 12 gm.
Cumin powder 1.8 gm.
Chilli powder 7.5 gm.
Coriander leaves (chopped) 6 gm.
Butter to cook.
Salt to taste.

Preparation Method

  • Boil peas and potatoes and mash well.

  • Heat butter in a pan, add ginger/garlic paste and the cubes of onions, tomatoes and green pepper and cook till tender.

  • Add the mashed peas and potatoes and cook till all the vegetables form a smooth puree.

  • Mash all the vegetables with a masher and add salt, coriander and cumin powder.

  • Add one tablespoon of water and cook on low heat for 2 min.

  • Before removing from the fire, add butter and garnish with coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot with lemon wedges and buttered bread.

Time taken -- 30 minutes.
Serves -- 6.
